No evidence for the use of plasma therapy as a treatment for COVID-19

The Health Ministry Tuesday said the plasma therapy for COVID-19 is one of the therapies being experimented with but there is no evidence for its use as a treatment.

Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said the use of this therapy without adequate safeguards can be “life threatening”.
