In Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, two women, who were troubled by domineering, tired of pleading with the police administration, tried to commit suicide by spraying kerosene in front of the Lok Bhavan in Lucknow on Friday.
The passers-by and some police personnel present on the spot somehow managed to control the fire by putting a blanket and admitted both to the civil hospital.
The condition of the mother, who was burnt by the fire, is said to be critical. It is being told that the victim’s mother-daughter is from Amethi district. Whose village has been having a dispute with the neighbor for the past few days.
When the district administration did not hear any, the distressed mother-daughter had come to Lucknow to seek justice from the Chief Minister. At the same time, the district administration of Amethi has not come into action yet.
The mother daughter complains that some miscreants in the village attacked her mother in a drain dispute. She was also beaten up for protesting. Gudiya did not hear even when Jamo reached the police station.
