Who is not waiting for IPL and the news related to it is continuously coming. It is time for the remaining matches of IPL 2021 to start and fans are eagerly waiting for it. In fact, the dates of the Caribbean Premier League and ICC’s T20 tournament were also clashing with the date of IPL matches. But the good news is that at the behest of the BCCI, the West Indies Cricket Board has agreed to keep the CPL date earlier.
This year’s season of the Caribbean Premier League, played in the West Indies, was to run from August 28 to September 19. But after talking to the BCCI, now it will be started from 26 August and finished by 15 September. BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla has already said that the remaining matches of IPL 2021 will start from September 19 and will be final on October 15. That is, the problems of West Indies players and IPL players playing in CPL have gone away. Apart from West Indies, players from Australia, New Zealand and England play in good numbers in IPL. In such a situation, it is also necessary to talk to their cricket board.
There have been 29 matches of IPL 2021 so far and 31 matches are left. For this, in the window that BCCI has found, most of the countries will be playing somewhere, because the T20 World Cup is also to be held in October itself. So it is not going to be easy for the rest of the cricket board to send their players to the IPL. The dates of IPL have been announced, but the schedule has not been revealed yet. It is believed that until the BCCI talks to all the boards, the complete schedule will not be released. Maybe by the end of the month all the boards will be discussed and after that the dates may be pushed back a day or two and the full schedule will also be released.
