The company is now planning to launch the electric version of the popular e-scooter. Yamaha’s electric scooter Yamaha India has announced that its soon launching an electric scooter in Indian markets. At present, the automaker is closely observing the electric vehicle policy in India before making any bold moves. Honda Benly e Honda could launch Honda Benly-e in India in 2021. The Japanese automaker is currently selling four different models of Benly e in Japan and other countries. Benly e is currently undergoing tests at the Automotive Research Association Of India (ARAI). ‘ Simple One Simple Energy is working on its electric scooter, Simple One, which is launching in August 2021. The electric scooter is said to be offering a 240 km range in a single 70 minutes charge. The electric scooter could be priced at around Rs 1,20,000 and will rival the likes of Ather 450X and Ola Electric.’ Ola Electric Ola Electrics much-awaited scooter could launch in July 2021. The electric scooter is said to be offering a 100-150 km range on a single charge. The bike could sport features such as a removable Lithium-ion battery, alloy wheels, and telescopic suspension at the front, among others. Ola is also setting up a network of 5000 charging stations across India.
