The Communist Party of China has been stifling individual liberty for a long time. Cases of Human Rights Violation are often seen in China, due to which unpopularity is increasing rapidly among all countries and people living there. In many countries, hatred is being created for China.
Think tank Pew Research Center released a survey last week. This survey has been done in 17 such countries, which are the largest economies in the world. In this survey, an average of 69 percent people have got a negative attitude towards China. The biggest reason for having such an attitude is the lack of respect for individual liberty in China.
Eighty percent of the people in this survey published in Taipei Times believed that Chinese President Xi Jinping cannot solve international issues properly. His past unpopularity has also grown exponentially. It may be noted that film director Chloe Zhao, who won the Best Director award at this year’s Academy Awards, said in 2013 that China is a country where lies are spread everywhere. Despite China’s growing economic and military power, individual freedoms are increasingly being violated here.
