Battlegrounds Mobile India developer Crafton on Tuesday revealed that its partnership with Elon Musk’s EV company Tesla will allow players to drive a Tesla Model Y and experience the Autopilot feature available in the game.
With a new update for the game following its official launch, players can enter the Gigafactory and watch Tesla Model Y production go from start to finish. They can then drive in their new car and experience the unprecedented Autopilot feature available on all Tesla vehicles, the company said in a statement.
A self-driving Tesla Semi will also randomly appear on rural roads and automatically drive on specific routes. Players can damage Semis to force them to drop their supply boxes and obtain combat supplies. The game’s classic mode has also been updated to include an all-new weapon, the MG3, as well as a new feature to toss medical items to your squad mates in those clutch situations.
