A cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh’s McLeod Ganj on Monday created a water tragedy-like situation. When a cloud burst near the Bhagsunag Waterfall of McLeodganj, a famous tourist spot, the water level in a drain there increased rapidly. After a while, the water of the drain started flowing like a river in the parking lot and washed away many vehicles. In view of the flood-like situations, the administration of Dharamshala has issued an alert here.

According to the information received, the incident of cloudburst took place on Monday, after which heavy rain started here. In this rain that occurred near the Bhagsunag Waterfall, the water level of a drain suddenly increased and the water started flowing at a high speed on the road. During this, many vehicles parked in the parking lot suddenly got washed away. At the same time, many buildings also suffered heavy damage due to this water flow. The water level of Manjhi river flowing near Dharamsala has also increased due to the rains.

Sources say that after this incident in McLeodganj, all the officers of the administration have reached the spot. Apart from this, relief teams have been alerted. The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office has also instructed the administration to continuously monitor the situation.
