IOA to give Rs 25 lakh reward to PV Sindhu after winning bronze in Olympics

India’s daughters did a great job in Tokyo Olympics. India has so far won 2 medals in the Olympics and both are won by women. And now Indian boxer Lovlina has also confirmed the third medal in women’s boxing. On the opening day of the Olympics,  Mirabai Chanu won a silver medal in weightlifting, and then this Sunday, PV Sindhu defeated a Chinese player to win the bronze medal in badminton. Star badminton player Sindhu on Sunday became the first Indian to win two medals in the Olympics by winning a bronze medal and the silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

In the bronze medal match on Sunday, PV Sindhu defeated Chinese player Bingjiao 21-13, 21-15 in straight sets. With this victory of PV Sindhu, the whole country is celebrating. On his achievement, many big leaders and stars including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur gave their best wishes.

After this victory of Sindhu, the rain of prizes has also started on her. In fact, the Indian Olympic Association had already announced that in the Olympics, 75 lakhs to the gold medalist, 40 lakhs to the silver medalist and 25 lakhs to the bronze medal winner. Now IOA will present a prize money of Rs 25 lakh to India’s star female shuttler PV Sindhu. Apart from IOA, the Government of India and many state governments can also announce a reward for PV Sindhu.
