The iPhone could be getting a slew of new camera features that would be tempting enough for iPhone 12 users to make the switch to the upcoming iPhone 13, claims Bloomberg’s newest report by Mark Gurman.
The report highlights that the iPhone 13 lineup could see three major features. The first being that the devices could get a portrait mode for shooting videos. Moreover, the phones will now also allow capturing videos in a higher-quality format dubbed ProRes.
The feature is expected to work alongside ProRAW, but for videos, offering a near-lossless video capture allowing video editors to make edits without compromising on the end result.
Along with this the iPhone 13 is expected to pack a bunch of new filter-like system that enhance the aesthetic and colours of a particular photo.
Apart from the camera, however, Gurman believes that the iPhone would get a bunch of modest upgrades, especially in terms of performance and connectivity.

The phones are expected to retain the same 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch for the iPhone 13 Mini and standard iPhone 13, as well as the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Pro models. Moreover, even the designs of the iPhone 13s are expected to be similar to iPhone 12.
Under the hood, you’ll get a relatively faster A15 Bionic chip. You’ll also get better displays with a smaller notch as well as newer screen tech to enable faster smooth refresh rate — something that many buyers missed on the last iteration of the iPhone.
