Suzuki launched its newest product in India- the Avenis 125 scooter recently. So here we list down all that you need to know about this TVS Norq 125 rival from Suzuki.

Styling

First glance at the Suzuki Avenis and you’d immediately pick out its resemblance to the TVS Ntorq 125. It gets an aggressive styling with sharp lines and creases all around. The scooter also features a signature Suzuki beak-like front fender and an upswept tail section. Suzuki is offering four colours- grey, orange, white and blue along with a MotoGP edition.

Powering the Suzuki Avenis is the same 125cc, fuel-injected engine that also does duty on the Access 125 and the Burgman Street 125. This 125cc, fuel-injected motor is capable of churning out 8.5bhp and 10Nm of peak torque. It tips the scales at 106kgs. However, this makes it around 2kg heavier than the Burgman Street 125.

Features

In terms of features, the Avenis scooter comes with a fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It can connect with the rider’s smartphone, giving access to turn-by-turn navigation as well as message and call alerts. Moreover, it comes with a USB charger, side stand interlock and external fuel filler cap.

Pricing

Suzuki has priced the Avenis 125 scooter at Rs 86,700 for the base Ride Connect version and Rs 87,000 for the MotoGP edition. This makes it much more expensive than its biggest rival- the Ntorq that starts from Rs 73,370, ex-showroom.
