Netflix users were absolutely elated as the streaming giant slashed the price of its subscription plans in a bid to widen its user base in the country. Netflix reduced the price of its mobile plan to Rs 149 from Rs 199 for the first time since it started offering its services in 2016. Moreover, now, the basic plan will be available at Rs 199 per month instead of Rs 499 and the standard plan will cost Rs 499 instead of Rs 649. In addition, the price of the premium plan was also reduced to Rs 649 per month from Rs 749.
