A day after a video of a woman who was allegedly molested and paraded with a garland of shoes went viral, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called the incident “very shameful.” He urged the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal to instruct the police to take strict action the accused.
Taking to Twitter, CM Kejriwal wrote in Hindi, which can be loosely translated to English, “This is very shameful. How did the criminals get so much courage? I urge the Union Home Minister and the Lieutenant Governor to instruct the police to take strict action and pay attention to the law and order situation. Delhiites will not tolerate such heinous crimes and criminals at any cost.”
