US-led coalition forces entered Afghanistan in December 2001. This airport was converted into a large military base with 10,000 soldiers. But, after the US President Joe Biden promised the withdrawal of the US army, now the US army is leaving from there.

During this time the Taliban has got a chance to spread its feet and it is taking control in many areas of Afghanistan. The cost of this war has been very high, whether in terms of the number of people killed or the money spent on it. But, what was the reason behind this struggle of 20 years, for whom did all this happen and did America succeed in its objective?

About 3,000 people were killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in the United States. The extremists used airplanes for these attacks. Taking control of these ships, the extremists and those ships collided with the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in New York. A ship crashes in a field in Pennsylvania. Osama bin Laden, the head of the Islamic extremist organization al-Qaeda, was blamed for the attacks.
