Amid Covid-19 pandemic, UP government decides not conduct state board exams: Read here

In view of the pandemic situation, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided not to conduct state board’s class 10 examination. The Yogi government has also decided to promote students of classes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,11 to promote to their next class. Not only Uttar Pradesh but several other state boards in the country have decided not to conduct exams for classes upto 11 as the country is still battling with the second wave of coronavirus.

Moreover, the UP education board has informed that it may conduct class 10 exams in July, however, no specific date has been mentioned about the same, Dr Dinesh Sharma, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister announced on Saturday.

This year, around 30 lakh students were eligible to take class 10 board exams, however, high school students will now be promoted to their next session.
