Big telecom companies like Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Idea, and Airtel have given a big blow to their customers. Now you will not get free SMS in the unlimited plans associated with them. In simple words, to stay profitable, companies are following this new plan, due to which they are removing the free SMS benefit from all cheap plans. Let us tell you that you are not getting SMS facility with which plans of Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea right now.
First of all let’s talk about Reliance Jio, to remind you that Jio has recently relaunched its Rs 98 plan. With the plan, users are getting 1.5GB daily data for 14 days along with unlimited voice calling and Jio Apps subscription. But the free SMS benefit is not included with this plan.
Vodafone Idea has recently introduced two new plans of Rs 99 and Rs 109. Where Vi is giving free calling and 1GB data for 18 days to the users with the Rs 99 plan. At the same time, with the plan of Rs 109, customers are being provided 1GB data, unlimited voice calling for 20 days. That is, the validity of this plan will be 20 days. But even with both these plans, the facility of free SMS is not being provided.
