On Teachers’ Day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will teachers who played an important role in the Corona period. Teachers have played a big role during the corona, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said. He further said that teachers played an important role in distribution, vaccination, and doing duty at the Quarantine Centre.
Sisodia further said that teachers conducted online classes. Moreover, teachers have paid for the student’s mobile recharge. In 2016, the number of awards increased from 103 to 122. This year the limit to get an award has been reduced from 15 to 3 years. This year 1108 teachers have applied out of which 122 got selected.
He further said that the teachers proved during the epidemic that the Guru has to be ahead of Govind.
