Apple recently launched the upgraded versions of iPhones, iPads and the Macbook. The biggest upgrade was the battery in all versions of the iPhone 13 series that were released. These phones were said to have longer battery lives compared to previous models of iPhones. Making other changes to the look and feel of the phone, Apple also lowered the size of the notch in its iPhone 13 series.
As per various reports, Apple may let go of the notch completely in its iPhone 14 series in the coming future. According to an Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, the Apple iPhone 14 might have a biometric authentication mechanism that will combine with the Touch ID and Face ID. But the news differs from person to person.
Regarding the Apple 14 series, Tipster Panda had claimed that the Touch ID will not make a comeback in the 14 series, unlike other reports which claim that Apple will include a combination of Face ID and Touch ID, enhancing overall security and allowing users to access their phone easily even while wearing masks. Tipster Panda mentioned the above in a now-deleted Weibo post.
Tipster Panda also claimed that Apple would not remove the iconic notch from its next iPhone models, they might shrink the notch but that’s about it.
As of now, those who are waiting on the release for the iPhone 14 series have a long way to go because the series is still a long way off from introduction, so nothing is set in stone just yet. Apple could surprise us with features that we probably haven’t heard of. There is no announcement of the new phone anytime soon.
