Great News! Redmi Note 11 4G to be available in Indian market soon, get all details here

It’s been less than two weeks since Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced the Redmi Note 11T 5G in India and the smartphone maker is already planning to bring a 4G variant of the phone. According to a report by 91Mobiles, Redmi can soon launch the Redmi Note 11 4G in India – a phone that was introduced in China very recently. The 4G variant will definitely be more affordable than the Note 11T 5G which starts at Rs 16,999. It could also be the second Note 11 series phone in India. The company is expected to launch the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Max in the first quarter of next year.

The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Note 11T 5G is priced at Rs 16,999, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 17,999 and the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will cost you Rs 19,999. The internal storage on the phone can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. Currently, it sits next to the Redmi Note 10 Pro which sells for around the same price.

Coming back to the Redmi Note 11 4G, the phone might be very similar to the Redmi 10 Prime, which was launched at Rs 12,499 earlier this year. The Chinese variant of the phone features a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset and a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD display with 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

Redmi Note 11 4G features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. It features a 16-megapixel front camera. The connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.1, and a USB Type-C port, among others.

In comparison, the Redmi Note 11T 5G comes with a better MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC which brings 5G support to the phone. It also adds 33W fast charging support, which might be missing on Note 11 4G. All the other features including the display remain the same. Just that the Note 11T 5G skips the macro shooter and ships with a dual rear camera setup. A price you have to pay for 5G.

There are times when Xiaomi makes a few changes to the Indian variant of its phones. There are also times when it launches the exact same phone in the Indian market. The first approach would be better for the Note 11 4G. We need to keep in mind that last year’s Note 10 (only supported 4G) came with an AMOLED display and a quad rear camera setup.

It will also be interesting to see the final price of the Note 11 4G. In all likeness, it should cost less than Rs 15,000. For all variants.
