Along with this, the ICC has also talked about using win percentage points to determine the ranks of teams in the World Test Championship 2023. That is, the winning team will have 100% win percentage points. The team that tie will get 50% marks. Apart from this, 33.33 percent marks will be given to the teams in the draw test. The losing teams will have no win percentage points.
Apart from this, points have also been determined on the basis of series. If there are 2 tests in a test series, then it will have 24 points. A total of 36 points have been earmarked for a 3-Test series, 48 for a 4-Test series, and 60 for a 5-Test series. Let us tell you that earlier each series had 120 points, whether it was a two-Test series or a five-Test series. But this time each match will have the same number of points.
