ICC released WTC 2023 schedule, check out new points system and fixtures here

Recently, the ICC has announced the schedule and points table of the World Test Championship 2023. Under the Test Championship, the team winning a Test match will get 12 points, while in case of a Test tie, 6 points will be given to both the teams. Also, in case of draw, it has been decided to give 4 points to both the teams. No points will be awarded to the losing team.

Along with this, the ICC has also talked about using win percentage points to determine the ranks of teams in the World Test Championship 2023. That is, the winning team will have 100% win percentage points. The team that tie will get 50% marks. Apart from this, 33.33 percent marks will be given to the teams in the draw test. The losing teams will have no win percentage points.

 

Apart from this, points have also been determined on the basis of series. If there are 2 tests in a test series, then it will have 24 points. A total of 36 points have been earmarked for a 3-Test series, 48 ​​for a 4-Test series, and 60 for a 5-Test series. Let us tell you that earlier each series had 120 points, whether it was a two-Test series or a five-Test series. But this time each match will have the same number of points.
