Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India on Thursday launched its new CB200X bike. The ex-showroom price of this new small-size street and touring bike from Honda is Rs 144,500. The Honda CB200X bike is about Rs 13,000 more expensive than the Hornet 2.0. The Honda CB200X bike is based on the Hornet 2.0. Talking about styling, the CB200X bike has taken inputs from the CB500X.
The headlamp design of the Honda CB200X bike is similar to that of the Hornet. At the same time, the tall black windscreen and the angular side panel that connects to the fuel tank is similar to the CB500X. The bike has a full-LED lighting setup with LED turn indicators. Complete information about the bike comes in the fully-digital instrument cluster. Bookings for the bike have started. Its delivery will start in September 2021.
The Honda CB200X motorcycle is powered by a 184cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine. The same engine is in the Hornet. The engine in the bike generates power of 17.03bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 16.1Nm at 6,000 rpm. The bike has 17 inch alloy wheels. The bike has a 5 speed gearbox. Honda’s programmed fuel injection has been given in the engine along with 8 on-board sensors. The bike has single-channel ABS, petal disc brakes at the front and rear.
