Electric motorcycle maker Revolt Motors has once again got a lot of reviews about its electric bike. According to the company, it has sold all the units of its RV400 within minutes of the booking of the second slot. On the other hand, the bikes of the first round took just 2 hours to be sold.

Subsidy-like provisions have been implemented in many states for EV manufacturers, and ever-increasing petrol prices are forcing people to switch to EVs. In recent times, EV policy was implemented in Maharashtra under which a subsidy of around 25,000 per bike will be given. Whereas in Gujarat, every buyer who buys a bike is being given a subsidy of Rs 20,000 on the price. Talking about the state of Delhi, the prices of electric bikes have seen a reduction of around 16,000.

The RV400 bikes are capable of delivering a range of around 150 kms on a single charge. The company has used 3.24Kwh lithium-ion battery in this bike. Which is capable of running at a top speed of 85 kmph. The bike comes in three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.
