Musk said that at present the import duty in India is among the highest in the world. He hoped that there would be duty relief on electric vehicles at least temporarily.
Elon Musk said that India adopts clean energy vehicles like diesel and petrol vehicles, while both these vehicles are not compatible with its climate goals. Elon Musk hoped that India would at least offer temporary duty relief on electric vehicles. This would be a good move.
