Boat has finally launched a new smartwatch in the Indian market called the Boat Xtend. The smartwatch has been made available weeks after it was listed on the e-commerce platforms. The Boat Xtend has been launched with features including built-in Alexa, real-time stress monitor and other health features. Previously, Boat had launched the Boat Storm, Boat Xplorer, Boat Flash and Boat Enigma.

Talking about the new launch, Aman Gupta, Co-Founder, boAt said, “Our boAthead community has accepted our smartwatches with open arms and we are excited to launch another feature packed model. We are thrilled to introduce a smartwatch with built-in Alexa which adds a whole new dimension and capabilities to the smartwatch category as a whole. This truly is one of the smartest wearable experiences out there.”

Boat Xtend has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 2999 with a 1-year standard Industry warranty. The smartwatch has been launched with interesting colour options including Olive Green, Sandy Cream, Pitch Black and Deep Blue. The watch can be purchase from Amazon India’s official website as well Boat’s website.

Boat Xtend smartwatch: Specifications

Boat Xtend features a 1.69-inch LCD. The smartwatch comes with 50 plus watch faces accessible via the boAt Wave app. The smartwatch comes with a range of sensors and fitness trackers capable of tracking Heart rate, SPo2, and Sleeping patterns automatically as well as manually. Additionally, there is also a stress monitor that shows stress levels.

The watch also comes with various activity modes including walking, running, cycling, hiking, swimming, and tracks sports such as rowing, playing cricket, working out among others. The Boat Xtend recognises running and walking and automatically starts tracking them. In terms of battery, the watch houses a 300mAh battery and can go on for up to a week on a single charge. It is also 5ATM rated for water and dust resistance. This means that it can survive underwater for up to 30 minutes.

Apart from the sensors and fitness trackers, the smartwatch also comes with notification alerts for calls, texts, alarms, hydration as well as third party social media apps. It has curated controls to track weather, change music and to set the watch to Do Not Disturb mode to block out all the unnecessary notifications.
