Micro-blogging site Twitter has released a new voice messaging feature for its direct messaging (DM) platform. Twitter’s Voice DM feature will be live for India, Brazil, and Japan from today on February 17. After the introduction of this feature, users will be able to send voice messages as direct messages. Like a voice tweet, the voice message will also be 140 seconds long. This feature will be for both Android and iOS users.
Regarding the new feature, Twitter has said in a statement that India is a very important market for us, so we are continuously presenting all our features in India. A voice message will give a new experience to crores of users of the country. Twitter first started audio messaging in June last year. During that time the feature of voice tweet was released and after that, the feature of voice messaging has gone live.
Now the question is that how to use this new feature, then the first task is to update your app. Then go to the box with direct messaging and click on the button with voice recording. After this, record the message and send it. You can also listen to the message before sending it. The received voice message can be heard on both the mobile app and the desktop.
