Uttar Pradesh will now see no restriction related to corona curfew. The corona curfew will be applicable only in four districts. In all the other districts of the state, the number of corona infected has come down to less than 600.
Now corona curfew will be applicable only in Lucknow, Meerut, Saharanpur and Gorakhpur. With this, 71 districts of the state have became corona curfew free.
However, on Saturdays and Sundays, the weekly ban will remain in force in all the districts as per earlier orders. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 1100 new cases have come in the state while 2446 patients have gone back home after being discharged. At present the number of active cases in the state is 17944.
UP government is working on the policy of ‘Triple T’ i.e. Test, Track and Treat to control Corona. More than three lakh tests are being done every day in the state.
The overall corona positivity rate of the state is 3.3 percent while the recovery rate is 97.7 percent. So far, more than five crore records have been done in the state (Five crore 13 lakh 42 thousand five hundred 37 tests have been done.)
