In a statement tweeted from the official Twitter handle of President Joe Biden, he and his wife Jill Biden said, “He was our favorite companion for 13 years and the entire Biden family loved him dearly.” He was with us in our wonderful moments of happiness and our sad days and understood our emotions without expressing them.’ After the death of the champ, the German Shepherd breed dog ‘Major’ is now left in the Biden family. Its age is 3 years.
According to the report published in CNN, Joe Biden was gifted by his wife to the champ after his victory in the 2008 elections. At that time the champ was only one month old.
