Amrullah Saleh said on Thursday that the Pakistani Air Force has warned the Afghan National Army (ANA) and the Afghan Air Force that Pakistan will respond to any attempt to remove the Taliban from the Spin Boldak area and take action against anyone who tries to do so.
Saleh tweeted, “BREAKING: Pakistan Air Force Officially Warns Afghan Army & Air Force that Pakistan Air Force Will Respond If Anyone Tries to Remove Taliban from Spin Boldak Area. Pakistan Air Force The army is now providing air support to the Taliban in some areas.”
Pakistan’s foreign ministry says it vehemently denies the “allegations” of First Vice President Amrullah Saleh. On behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, it has been said that it has taken necessary measures to protect its soldiers and people in its jurisdiction.
It has also been said from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan that Afghanistan has conveyed to Pakistan its intention to conduct air operations inside its territory in front of the Chaman sector of Pakistan. Pakistan responded positively to the right of the Afghan government to act on its territory.
