Virat Kohli explained why he and his wife actress Anushka Sharma have not uploaded their baby girl Vamika’s photos or videos on any social media platforms. He replied to a fan’s question on his Instagram stories, stating that until Vamika gets older, the couple will not upload their photos on social media.
A fan had asked him earlier about Vamika and what does the name mean, and then Virat stated the meaning of the name and said that it is another name for the Hindu goddess Durga. He then explained the reason behind not uploading many pictures and videos of the child on social media.
Virat stating the reason said, “No, we have decided not to upload photos of our child on social media as a couple, we will not upload photos of her before she gets the understanding of what social media is.”
After becoming a parent, Virat expressed his thoughts about the “life-changing” experience. In a video uploaded on the Twitter handle of his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore, he said, “It has been a life-changing experience. It cannot be described in words just how it feels after seeing your child smiling. “
