Smartphone major Vivo has launched its Vivo Y73 in India. The device is now up for sale on several e-commerce platforms and partner retail stores at a price of Rs 20,990 for its only variant. Vivo is also offering introductory discounts on the purchase of the Y73.
As a highlight, Vivo Y73 comes in an ultra-thin form factor, measuring just 7.38 mm in thickness. This is a tad bit more than the 7.29mm thickness on the Vivo V21 launched earlier this year, which the company claimed to be the slimmest smartphone in India.
Other stand out features include a 64-megapixel triple-lens camera setup, an AMOLED display and a large battery with fast charging capability. Here is a look at all that the Vivo 73 has to offer.
Vivo Y73 price, availability and offers
Vivo Y73 is available in a single variant for a price of Rs 20,999. The only choice is between two colour options – Roman Black and Diamond Flare.
The smartphone is now up for sale through online platforms including Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store and across all partner retail stores.
Vivo has also put up a range of offers on the purchase of Y73. These vary from instant discounts to cashback, zero down payment option and one-time screen replacement benefit.
Vivo Y73 specifications
As was speculated prior to its launch, Vivo Y73 features a very slim form factor with a patterned and reflective back panel having a 2.5D rounded frame. It sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED Display with FHD+ (2400×1080) resolution and a waterdrop selfie shooter at the top.
The device is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 processor and runs the latest FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. Memory offerings include an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is further expandable up to 1TB using an external microSD. The Y73 also comes with Vivo’s extended-RAM technology, so that the 8GB RAM acts like an 11GB one during extensive use of the smartphone.
Vivo Y73 comes with Vivo’s marquee triple-lens camera system at the back. The module includes a 64-megapixel primary lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel super macro lens. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie shooter at the front. Features on the camera setup include a Super Night Mode, Super Night Selfie, Ultra Stable Video, 4K Video and Dual View Video.
The device is backed by a 4000 mAh battery that also supports 33W fast charging. Connectivity options on offer include a dual Nano-SIM and a Micro SD slot, USB type-C, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
Vivo Y73 measures 161.24 x 74.37 x 7.38 mm and weighs around 170 grams.
