One of India’s most loved vehicles, the Maruti WagonR has recently been spotted on the road with the logo of Toyota. After the Baleno, Toyota is now working across the WagonR. The car was spotted on the road while testing in Gurgaon. A lot of changes have been made to the exterior of the car and there is no available information about the interior.
Earlier, the Maruti WagonR hatchback was offered with a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which generates 67 Bhp of power and 90 Nm of torque. Apart from this, the company also offers a 1.2-liter unit in it, which generates 82 Bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. According to media reports, the powertrain of this car will be shared with Maruti Suzuki like other rebadged models in Toyota’s line-up.
The WagonR with the Toyota logo may also launch in an electric avatar. It is being claimed that if it launches in an electric avatar, the company will launch it with a driving range of 130 km / charge. At the same time, it can be charged in about 7 hours using a standard AC charger.
