After a long wait, Manoj Bajpai’s web series Family Man 2 has now been released on Amazon Prime Videos. The series is based on an Indian spy, in which Manoj is playing the character of Shrikant Tiwari, a spy. The show will see Manoj once again juggling between his personal and professional life, as was the case in the first season of the show.
To become a family man, Manoj Bajpayee leaves his NIA job here and does a nine-to-five job in an IT firm, but he does not interact with anyone in the office. He reminds young co-workers of their tired father. Manoj also does not feel like in this office and often talks with his old friend JK (Sharib Hashmi) sometimes on the phone and sometimes together. Actually their world is where criminals have to be taught a lesson.
The second season of The Family Man slowly derails after a decent start. If you are familiar with Sri Lankan-Indian politics of two-three decades old, then the mystery of the main plot of the story leaves no magic for you. You know where the story is going. Similarly, nothing new happens in the life of Srikanth and Suchi. The style of Srikkanth and JK’s conversation is also old, with a few one-liners trying to chuckle intermittently with abusive words.
