India has secured a lot of quotas in the Tokyo Olympics, out of which 15 quotas have been secured in shooting only. This in itself is a great achievement. The players aiming for India have a mix of experience and youthful zeal that has never been seen before. Most of the players in the Indian contingent will be participating in the Olympics for the first time.

If we talk about experienced players, then Meraj Ahmed Khan who entered the skeet 45 years, rifle player Tejaswini Sawant 40 years, Sanjeev Rajput 40 years, Anjum Modgil 27 years, Apurvi Chandela 28 years, Deepak Kumar 33 years, pistol player Abhishek Verma 31 Sal and Rahi Sarnobat are 30 years old.

Talking about the young players who are ready to show their stamina in various shooting events by coming to the shooting range in Tokyo with full enthusiasm, then these include Manu Bhaker, Saurav Chaudhary, Divyansh Singh Pawar, Aishwarya Pratap Singh and Yashaswini Deswal. These five young shooters can target medals.
