Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra has decided to recall 600 of its vehicles. Let us tell you that the reason behind this recall is being told as contaminated fuel. According to the report, the vehicles that were recalled were manufactured between June 21 and July 2, 2021 at its Nashik plant.
The company has issued a statement saying that it will investigate and replace the defective diesel engines of these cars. These engines are prone to premature failure due to contaminated fuel. Due to which they have been recalled. However, Mahindra has not told which models of the company have come under the grip of this defect. The company has said that the replacements required to test these models will be done free of cost. The company will personally contact the affected customers and inform them about the same.
Mahindra & Mahindra is the fifth largest passenger vehicle manufacturer in the country. It currently manufactures vehicles like Thar SUV, Scorpio, Marazzo and XUV300 at its Nashik plant. At the same time, the company launched Bolero Neo last week. Which is an updated version of the TUV300 SUV. Let us tell you, Mahindra is ready to launch an upgraded version of its flagship three-row SUV XUV500 in a new avatar, which has been named as XUV700.
